Indigenous II
This exhibition features indigenous art and traditions from NW Michigan. The show builds on the relationships and success of our 2023 show and highlights contemporary indigenous culture as well as visual and performing arts. The exhibit explores the visual diversity and excellence of Indigenous arts in a variety of media and celebrates the voices and culture of Native Peoples.
Holiday Market
The Holiday Gift Market will open the evening of Saturday, November 15 with a special celebration and will be open every day from 12:30 to 4:30, through Saturday, December 20th.

Indigenous Beading Workshop
Storyteller Tera John and Bead Work Artist Alicia Gervais guided this workshop.
Through Indigenous Culture and Storytelling, workshop attendees gained skills and knowledge of wrap stlye beadwork.
6 x 6 Fundraiser
6x6 Fundraiser
The Jordan River Arts Council invites you to celebrate creativity and community at our annual 6x6 Fundraiser. Artists and friends have contributed original 6”x6” works to support JRAC’s mission and regional arts programming.
Public Preview Opens: September 7, from 12:30 – 4:30 pm daily
Opening Reception & Sale: September 14, from 12:30 – 4:30 pm. All artwork will be available for purchase, with proceeds benefiting JRAC’s general operating fund. Come be inspired—and take home some art!
JRAC Volunteer Lunch
JRAC hosted a “Thank You” luncheon for its volunteers Aug. 12. It’s always great to gather with the people who contribute their time to our organization! A big thank you to all of our volunteers!

JRAC Member Show
A perennial favorite, the JRAC Member Exhibit features wonderfully diverse works by more than 30 JRAC members artists. Join us for the opening reception and vibrant conversation on Sunday, July 20, 12:30 to 4:30 pm. Light refreshments will be served. The exhibit will be open through August 30 from 12:30 to 4:30 pm daily.
Walk a Mile in Someone's Shoes
Themes of empathy, self-worth, teamwork and thinking beyond ourselves as interpreted by area artists are displayed.
Also featured are shoes from Jordan River Middle School’s Shoe Club collection donated by leaders and role models with commentary by the students.

Scholarship Show
The Jordan River Arts Council 2025 Scholarship & Awards Program
The Jordan River Arts Council is pleased to announce the Scholarship Competion for 2025. Five scholarships plus three honorable mention awards were given to high school Juniors and Seniors of Antrim and Charlevoix counties.
The Exhibit is at the Jordan River Arts Council from May 11 to 23. An Awards Reception was held Sunday May 18.

Once Upon a Line
Line is one of the fundamental elements of art and often is the basis for helping ideas become art. Line can be used to define shapes, indicated movement, express emotion and more. This show encourages works in all mediums and will showcase printmaking. For more information go to
