Call for Entry: Small Expressions

A fiber show with small works.

Small in scale, rich in detail. Small Expressions invites fiber artists to explore the impact of compact work—where texture, technique, and concept converge in pieces no larger than __ square inches. This exhibition celebrates the quiet strength of small-scale fiber art: stitched stories, woven ideas, and tactile moments that invite close reflection. All fiber-based approaches are welcome, from traditional to experimental. Let your smallest works speak volumes.

Entry Deadline: August 24,2026

• Submissions: Up to three entries per artist. Submit online at jordanriverarts.com, or

  download the PDF application and email it to jordanriverarts@gmail.com.

• Selection: Final decisions are made by the JRAC Exhibitions Committee. Space

  limitations may apply

Photo Requirements: Submit one overall image and one optional detail image per artwork. Photos are used for exhibit planning and promotional purposes.

Artwork Delivery:

• All work must be gallery-ready.

• Paintings/2D pieces must be dry and equipped with gallery wire (no sawtooth hangers).

• Label each piece with: title, artist name, medium, size, and sale price (if applicable).

• Include a completed Inventory Form (see below).

Fees: Free for JRAC members. Sales: retains a 30% commission; artists receive 70%. Donations from the commission are welcome and may be noted on the Inventory Form.

Artwork Drop-off Date: Tuesday, Sept. 8, 1:00-4:00 pm
Exhibition Opening Reception: Sun., Sept. 13, 2026, 12:30-4:30 pm
Exhibition Closes: Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026
Pick-up Artwork: Monday, Oct. 26, 1:00-4:00 pm
