Art of the Motorcycle: August 17 - September 28

Tattoo artist, Dan Hanselman, All American Tattoo and Piercing Co., Boyne City will demonstrate tattoo artistry in lower gallery. He is a nationally certified artist, and often designs original work upon request.

Jazz and blues music will be played by Roger Lilak and Co. during the opening of the motorcycle art exhibit, 1-7 pm.

Mike Stowe, owner of the Great Lakes Motor Works, Boyne City will loan several vintage bikes such as the Italian Ducati European racing bike, as well as a Ducati miniature racing bike, A Wizer and Straight Four Indian, A Bultoco, A Riverside, etc. Unique for the exhibit is an oil painting by Mike’s mother, Lee Stowe of Mike at age 12 with his motorcycle. The cycle is now apart of a bar in Mike’s home. A photograph of this bike will be exhibited.
