Foundations Join in Suppoer of Area Clay Event

The Petoskey—Harbor Springs Area Foundation and the Charlevoix County Community Foundation recently presented “grant awards” for a clay art exhibit with related workshops to the curators, Shanna Robinson and Dick Cunningham. The exhibit featuring area of clay artists entitled, Clay Artists and Friends” will take place January 20 through February 15, 2008 and will be held at the Jordan River Arts Council, East Jordan. Two related workshops will be presented at North Central Michigan College Art Department, Petoskey. Doug DeLind will give a raku workshop on Saturday, January 19 and 26. 2008 Dana Shearin will give a glaze development workshop Friday and Saturday, February 1 and 2, 2008.
