Annual Invitational Arts Exhibition

The Jordan River Arts Council presents the eighteenth Annual Invitational Arts Exhibition at the Arts Center, Main Street, East Jordan, from June 28 to July 18, 2008, with an opening reception for the artists, members and friends from 1 to 4pm on Saturday, June 28th. This exhibition features art by members of the Council who have been invited to submit two original pieces of their work. This year over forty artists have signified they will take part in this year's show, the twentieth anniversary of the Arts Council. This is a great opportunity to see the amazing directions taken by our artists over this last year. Many of the works will be for sale and this is an opportunity to add a unique piece or two to home art collections. Media range from,the "incalmo" blown glass of Alan Swan, a charter member of the Council, to raku to oils to water colors and much more. Members, friends and the public are invited to the reception for refreshments in the air-conditioned gallery.
