Florescence - Call for entries
Artist Entry Forms are now available for Jordan River Arts Council’s "FLORESCENCE," which is all about seeds, stamens, stems, pistils, leaves, petals, bouquets and flowers of all shape, size and dimension. All medium will be considered for this juried show. The Arts Council will be transformed into a garden of earthly delights, and artists are encouraged to play with scale, and to take the show “outside” if they desire. During the course of the show, classes and special events will be offered to the northern Michigan community and dates will be announced by the end of the year. The show will open April 1, 2012 and run through May 4, 2012. Artist Entry Forms are due on March 1, 2012.
This is a perfect show and venue for intimate pieces to large-scale installation. Artists are encouraged to think about indoor and outdoor exhibition. Work can be offered for sale though an arrangement with the Arts Council.
