Innovative Paper Show to be presented at Jordan River Arts Council
BOOK, PAPER and LETTER SHOW
Artist Entry Forms are now available for Jordan River Arts Council’s "FOR THE LOVE OF LETTERS," a juried show which will explore innovation in books, paper making and shaping, and original typography. During the course of the show, classes and special events related to paper and bookmaking will be offered to the northern Michigan community and dates will be announced this fall. Applications are expected by January 4, 2011. Artists will be notified if their pieces are accepted by January 17, 2011. The show will open February 13, 2011.
This is a perfect show and venue for intimate pieces to large-scale installation. Furniture makers and woodworkers are also encouraged to submit tables, bookcases or other pieces that will serve to showcase submitted books and paper presentations. Work can be offered for sale though an arrangement with the Arts Council.
