She is facinated by all things discarded and recycled and strives to give them a place of honor in the linear environment. She has a BFA and MFA in Studio Art from Michigan State University an has taught a variety of art related subjects to students of all ages and abilities.

Babs holds a BA and MA from Purdue University and taught art in the public school in Indiana and Ohio for over 30 years before retiring to Northern Michigan. Babs has been working with polymer clay since the mid 1990's and metal clay for several years. She also dabbles in photography. She is not nearly as talented as Jacky Trimble, but they play well together and she is good at passing out supplies.
