May is here and so is our final show of the 15th season for Peace Coffee House. We hope you'll join us to say farewell to another winter of great music on the JRAC stage and welcome in the summer music season!
This month's performers are:
Peacemeal
Dale & Maureen Scott are long-time friends, supporters and performers in the northern Michigan folk music scene. Performing as "Peacemeal", you're sure to hear guitar, banjo, fiddle and hammered dulcimer in addition to great vocal harmonies. But - as the name implies, there are endless other possibilities, as you just never know what other talent is in town to sit in and jam! In any combination, PeaceMeal will not disappoint - they are true talent, always engaging, and are known for bringing a social message with their music.
Conrad Gold
Conrad Gold writes songs about turning points in peoples lives. He is excited to share his mix of folk, blues and country styles with listeners at the Peace Coffee House. Guitar accompaniment by Bill Wilson.
As always, we invite you to share your talents at Open Stage, immediately following our scheduled performers. No need to be shy -- you're in good company!
Admission is $7 and refreshments are complimentary. You are, of course, always welcome to bring food to share too.
We are located at the Jordan River Art Center, on the 3rd block of Main Street in East Jordan.
We begin at 8:00 p.m. and sing until 11:00.
Please help spread the word about this community event - tell a friend, bring a friend, announce it to the groups with whom you're involved, shout it in the streets, offer to hang a flier, but above all, come and enjoy the show!
We're looking forward to seeing you all in this new year!
