Breathe Owl Breathe, Micah Middaugh and Andrea Moreno Beals, returns by popular demand in concert April 7, 8:00 pm to the Jordan River Arts Council, 301 Main St., East Jordan. This very creative duo will present all original songs with guitar, banjo, cello, glockenspiel... and thought-provoking lyrics sung with harmonies. For the evening performance Trevor Hobbs will add drums, accordion and vocals. With this arrays of instrumentation the duo has cultivated a musical landscape that is at once playful and reverent, silly and heartfelt, mysterious and familiar. Featured will be original songs from their latest CD, Canadian Shield.

They have performed throughout Michigan including Blissfest and the Traverse City Opera House. A tour of concerts is being planned early summer in Boston, New York and Vermont . The CD, Canadian Shield, will be available for sale. Also, special for this concert T-shirts with a new woodcut design of the owl and the moon, has been created by Middaugh. They will also be available for sale.

Doors will open at 7:00 pm. Suggested donation is $5. Patrons will have the opportunity to view Mirror Images Exhibit which has been held over due to its popularity. For further information contact Howard Ellis, 231-536-2152.
