It's time for PEACE COFFEE HOUSE - simply the finest acoustic music venue in northwest Michigan! We hope you'll bring a friend for this great show.

Join us on SATURDAY, December 9th, 8-11 pm at the Jordan River Arts Center on Main Street, East Jordan.

This month, our performers are:

Ruth & Max Bloomquist
Singer/songwriter Ruth Bloomquist, 2003 winner of Merlefest’s prestigious Chris Austin Songwriting Contest in the Gospel category, has now released her third CD. One Day Ain’t Enough, is her most exciting work to date. Produced by herself and her bass player husband Max. Ruth Bloomquist has been making music in the Great Lakes region for most of her life. The early influences of Joan Baez, The Beatles, John Denver and Emmylou Harris, just to name a few, fueled her heart with the desire to write, sing, and perform.

Mr. Gregg
Boyne City's own, Gregg's upbringing was equivalent to a living musical. Hayrides, bonfires, everywhere you went, song and music were prevalent. No style is beyond his smooth blend or variety, in both performance and song writing. Having extensive experience in the industry, including performances on the Sunset Strip and Austin’s famous showcase district, he brings his performance expertise to our stage in December.

As always, we invite you to share your talents at Open Stage, immediately following our scheduled performers. No need to be shy -- you're in good company!

Admission is $7 and refreshments are complimentary. You are, of course, always welcome to bring food to share too.

We are located again this year at the Jordan River Art Center, on the 3rd block of Main Street in East Jordan.

Please help spread the word about this community event - tell a friend, bring a friend, announce it to the groups with whom you're involved, shout it in the streets, offer to hang a flier, but above all, come and enjoy the show!

We're looking forward to seeing you all again this year!

For more information, contact us, Rick & Tracy Meisterheim at 231-525-9168 or email us.
